Chris Scougal is a professional actor living in Glasgow Scotland.                              

With over 15 years experience, Chris has dedicated his life to performing, taking to the stage in a number of musicals and dramas.

Born in the Queen Mothers hospital Glasgow on the 11th of October 1985, Chris was raised in Viewpark Uddingston until the age of 9 when the family packed up and moved south of the border to Sunderland.

It was here Chris really began getting involved in the theatre. At the age of 13 Chris took to the stage in a school talent show singing Westlife's Swear it Again showing off his talent for singing, from then on Chris was involved in every school show and represented them in numerous talent contests until leaving at the age of 16.
 

After leaving school Chris joined the David Ducasse school of performing arts and began training in Music Drama and Dance.


Chris was also a member of numerous amateur theatre groups in Sunderland and regularly took to the stage in large West End style shows.

 

At the age of 18 Chris started his own entertainment company 'Saffron Entertainment' and travelled around Sunderland hosting karaoke evenings aswell as performing drag cabaret as Miss Patty 'O' Doors. Chris maintained this comapny for 2 years before hanging up his business shoes to concentrate more on his acting.

 

Since moving back to Glasgow in April 2007 Chris joined the Monklands Light Opera  for their 2008 production of Summer Holiday in which he took the Lead role of Don made famous by Cliff Richard in the 1963 film.

 

Since then Chris worked as a background artist on several Film and TV productions including Scotlands very own Soap - River City with BBC Scotland.

 

In 2009 Chris joined River Cities Shellsuit Bob (screen star Stephen Purdon) on stage as best friend and mischevious sidekick 'Lampwick' in the Pavilion Theatres family pantomime  'The Magical Adventures of Pinocchio'.

 

More recently Chris has enjoyed success in the hit musical comedy 'Jukebox Memories' alongside some of Scotlands finest talent playing to over 20,000 people.

 

Following the huge success of Jukebox Memories Chris is returning to the Pavilion in  'Jukebox Memories 3' in July 2012.
